Broncos Under8's Spur Bristol To Victory Over The Wasps

On Sunday the 24th of September , Thornbury Broncos Under 8's took part in a curtain raiser demonstration tag rugby game before Bristol Rugby's clash against London Wasps. The team played two games one against Frampton Cotterill and Bradford Upon Avon RFC. The mighty under 8's drew against Frampton and over powered Bradford. All four teams then did a parade lap of honour around the ground in front of over 11,000 fans. Before the game began all the players formed a tunnel to cheer on their hero's from both sides as they came onto the field. Obviously Bristol drew some inspiration from watching the Broncos in action as they over powered The Wasps to end their unbeaten run of games with a score of 26-21. Taking Bristol Rugby to the top of the premiership by achieving a bonus point.
